MMOX Smart prevents cyber attacks by eliminating the threat with the Cyber Defence Center.
Our hardware uses several modern technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI). These are permanently active and ensure that the Cyber Defence Center automatically identifies the current dangers and adjusts itself to ward off these attacks.
No, there are none! Once our Cyber Defence Center is installed, it automatically contacts our 24/7 monitoring service. This way, we check the box for proper functioning and provide it with all kinds of different features. Should an emergency occur, we will immediately receive a notification at MMOX and if necessary we will contact you.
As soon as you discover something you think is wrong, please contact us. Even if it turns out that an irregularity has slipped past the Cyber Defence Center, you can call the 24/7 service immediately. People are on stand-by to offer you appropriate help as soon as possible.
After the Cyber Defence Center has been installed, the installer will explain how you can independently log onto the dashboard to access our services. Once you are logged on, you will find an overview where you can view all activities and reports.

As soon as you report a problem, you'll be assigned a ‘handler’ from MMOX. Your handler will contact you directly and together you will decide how the problem can be solved best and quickest. If you want to deploy your own experts, we will work with them. We will then assist and support your experts. Would you rather use our experts? Well, that’s an option for sure. Depending on the situation, we will discuss a communication plan to keep all the parties involved informed of the current status and actions.
Our handler will agree on a communication plan with you. During the incident we will keep you informed of the status in writing or by telephone. When we schedule a physical appointment with one of our experts, you will also receive the phone number of the repairer. This way, you can always contact them directly and ask for an update about their work.
The first step we take immediately is to remove the cause and limit the damage. Together with you, we determine which steps are necessary. Once the incident is under control, we start resolving the situation. Within 72 hours at the latest, the first response team will be relieved by a larger team that solves the consequences of the incident. This team also includes lawyers, IT staff and PR officers who can solve the consequences of the incident.
There are two types of incidents that you can contact us for. The first is: my Internet is no longer working. The second is: the suspicion of a cyber security or data related incident. If you have your own IT professionals, they can already rule out the possibility that another IT problem has occurred.
Reimbursement is a damage cover based on Hiscox Underwriting's CyberClear Cybersecurity insurance. We can offer this at a very competitive premium because you use the MMOX Smart Cyber Defence Center. For a detailed description, please also refer to the Hiscox Policy conditions.
The insurance covers direct and indirect trading losses caused by system break-ins, theft or loss of confidential information, cyber liability, hacking and cyber extortion.
For an adequate, initial response to an incident, an adequate budget is quickly available. This allows us to limit the damage and restart the business operations as soon as possible. No excess applies to this amount. This is followed by a structural approach to the problem and it is difficult to determine in advance within which period you will receive compensation. This strongly depends on the type of damage and the required solution. Your handler or case manager will inform you about this.
The excess amounts to € 1,000 per claim. In the event of indirect trading loss, you should observe a retention time of 8 hours.
That is not necessary. For each incident, you'll be assigned a handler from MMOX. They will be in contact with the insurer. MMOX is the single point of contact for the total solution we offer with the insurance.
Because a part of the amounts due for MMOX Smart is based on insurance, 21% Insurance tax is due on the insurance part. For the remainder, MMOX Smart charges you the regular VAT. All our contracts, proposals and invoices transparently indicate the differences.
